Fractionation of SCF using DEAE Sephadex A-25 column (5 ml) and estimation of protein purity: SCF was fractionated using anion-exchange chromatography on DEAE Sephadex A-25 column. Mobile phase was 50 mM KPB, pH 7.4. One major peak was eluted using a gradient of sodium chloride (A). This protein peak was designated as P-A and studied further. Protein peak P-A showed three major protein bands as seen in SDS-PAGE gel followed by silver staining (B)
