Modulation of caspase-8 gene expression in rhabdovirus vaccination. Labeo rohita fingerlings (n = 3) were inoculated with inactivated rhabdovirus vaccine by intra-peritoneal (i.p.) route. After the designated time course, total RNA was extracted from the gill, liver, kidney, spleen, and blood and quantitative real-time PCR was employed to analyze caspase-8 and β-actin gene expression in these tissues. Expression of caspase-8 gene in these tissues were normalized with β-actin and expressed as fold changes as compared to the un-infected control (n = 3).
